A closer look
Inversion replaces each color with its opposite. Apply it to the whole image or just the areas you select.
Invert the interface and text. If the screenshot contains a photo, select it to keep its original colors.
Turn a black icon white, or change black lines on white into white lines on black.
Choose PNG or WebP to preserve transparency. JPG fills transparent areas with white.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Each red, green and blue value is replaced by its opposite: 255 minus the original value. White becomes black, red becomes cyan, and blue becomes yellow. This creates a digital negative without moving or resizing any pixels.
Yes. Open your PNG, invert the whole image or just selected areas, and choose PNG when downloading. Inversion leaves transparency unchanged. PNG and WebP preserve transparent areas; JPG fills them with white. The checkerboard behind the preview is not included in your download.
Yes. Tap Choose image and select a JPG, PNG or WebP from your photos or files. After processing, tap Download image. Depending on your browser, the file may appear in Downloads or open in a preview where you can save it. HEIC/HEIF photos can be opened directly. Some variants may need conversion to JPG or PNG.
No. This tool reverses colors, not direction. Everything stays in the same position. It also does not change your phone’s screen settings or restore the original colors of scanned film negatives.
Local editing does not upload your images. If you use phone upload, encrypted files temporarily pass through Cloudflare and are removed after receipt or by expiry cleanup. The decryption key stays in the QR link and your browsers. Plausible visit statistics do not include your selected images. See the Privacy Policy for details.
